MINECLUB

Minecraft maps are downloadable worlds that you can import into Minecraft. First, make sure Minecraft is not open. Then, unzip the map. (You may need an archive utility.) There will be a folder. That folder should contain subfolders named data and DIM-1. Now you will move that folder to one of the below: 

 

%appdata%/minecraft/saves (Windows)

~/Library/Application support/minecraft/saves (Mac)

~/.minecraft (Linux)

Now start your game and the map should show up in your singleplayer worlds list.
